What Is the O-Shot®?

The O-Shot® is a nonsurgical regenerative procedure that uses Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) prepared from a small sample of your own blood.

PRP contains a concentrated supply of your body’s own platelets and naturally occurring growth factors, which are used in many areas of regenerative medicine to support the body’s normal healing and tissue regeneration processes.

After your blood is collected, it is processed using an FDA-cleared PRP system to isolate the platelet-rich plasma. Following the application of a topical anesthetic, the PRP is strategically injected into specific treatment areas using techniques developed by Dr. Charles Runels, MD, the inventor of the O-Shot® procedure.

The procedure is performed comfortably in our office and typically requires minimal downtime, allowing most patients to resume normal daily activities shortly afterward.
